The Arboretum at Flagstaff
Located at 7,150 feet above sea level, The Arboretum is dedicated to helping visitors understand the unique environment of the Colorado Plateau. Explore 200 acres of gardens and natural habitats with over 2,500 plant species representing everything from high desert to alpine tundra.

Central Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute
CRMPI is a Permaculture training and counseling research and development center. It is part of an alliance of permaculture activists on the cutting edge of agroforestry and other newly discovered methods of organic farming. CRMPI's main facility is located at 7,000 ft elevation in the rocky mountains just outside Basalt, Colorado.

Native Seeds/SEARCH
A nonprofit conservation organization based in Tucson, Arizona. NS/S works to conserve, distribute and document the adapted and diverse varieties of agricultural seed, their wild relatives and the role these seeds play in cultures of the American Southwestern and northwest Mexico. Their seed catalog sells a rotating variety of Southwestern heirloom seeds.

The Permaculture Activist
The Activist is North America's leading permaculture periodical offering articles on permaculture design, edible landscaping, bioregionalism, aquaculture, natural building, earthworks, renewable energy, and much more. It lists permaculture design courses and serves as a global networking tool.

Plants of the Southwest
Plants of the Southwest is a permaculture-oriented seed and plant nursery in Santa Fe, New Mex. that sells mail order seeds for wildflowers, wildflower mixes, grasses, vegetables, herbs, trees and Shrubs, cover crops, and gardening books.
